Opposition Research and Case Insights

- Identity Verification & Address Profile: Pointer searches are done via investigative databases to determine a baseline of jurisdictions to conduct searches, both from developed address profile, name derivations/aliases, and potential hits derived from possible criminal cases, civil matters, liens, property, affiliations, digital footprint, and more.
- County Criminal History: Searches at the county court level for criminal matters; searches are conducted statewide when possible to amplify county court searches. Likewise, municipal courts matching developed address profiles will be searched for cases that were not prosecuted at the county level.
- Federal Criminal History: Searches of US District Courts to identify any federal criminal cases.
- County Civil Litigation: Searches at the county court level for civil matters as plaintiff and defendant.
- Federal Civil Litigation: Searches of US District Courts to identify federal civil cases.
- Media & Internet: Searches of the internet and social media to serve as a pointer for all other searches, as well as location and identification of potentially controversial media. These checks are performed 100% in-house by our highly experienced team of trained professionals using broadly applicable potentially controversial terms as well as terms specific to a case (e.g. plaintiff name, affiliated entity names).
- Business Ownership Filings/Business Registrations: Searches for information regarding DBAs, owners/officers, and agents for service.
- Business License Verification and Credit Profile: Verification of applicable licenses as well as entity credit profile(s) where possible.
